Summary

The A&P Technician II is a mid-level role responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on corporate aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards. This position supports Part 135 operations and requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft (primarily Hawker and Citation platforms)
  • Execute inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures (including 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspections)
  • Troubleshoot and repair airframe and powerplant systems
  • Accurately complete maintenance records, logbook entries, and FAA documentation
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with Part 135 requirements and company safety standards
  • Support AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations as needed
  • Assist with aircraft movement, towing, and ground handling when required
  • Mentor and support A&P Technician I personnel as needed
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Control and leadership on aircraft status and discrepancies

Qualifications

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (required)
  • 3–5+ years of aviation maintenance experience
  • Experience supporting Part 135 operations (preferred)
  • Experience on business jet aircraft (Hawker, Citation strongly preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and IPCs
  • Valid driver’s license
