Job Description
This role offers an experienced A&P Mechanic the opportunity to step into a key position within a well-established general aviation maintenance operation. You will perform hands-on airframe and powerplant maintenance while leading and mentoring a small team of mechanics in both engine and airframe departments. The position provides a clear path to grow into a maintenance leadership role, such as Chief Inspector or Director of Maintenance, while remaining actively involved in day-to-day maintenance work.

Work Environment
The maintenance operation is based at a family-run FBO with a strong small-town feel, located away from the busy Seattle metropolitan area. You will work in a general aviation maintenance facility that includes a full reciprocating engine shop and an airframe team, each currently consisting of a small group of mechanics. The company also operates an onsite flight school, and the maintenance organization services both the training fleet and a variety of privately owned aircraft. The shop is one of the few facilities that performs repairs on ICON amphibious aircraft, and some limited avionics work is performed on these aircraft as needed. The environment is collaborative and hands-on, with close interaction between maintenance staff, flight school operations, and private customers. Work attire is typical for an aircraft maintenance shop setting, focusing on practicality and safety while working in hangars and on the ramp.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
