Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic - This role is located in Marana, AZ Only

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our FAA‑certified repair station, where no two days look the same. This is hands-on, meaningful work supporting one of the largest aircraft storage and reclamation operations in the world. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a wide range of aircraft—narrow and wide body, small to large, regional to long-haul—while playing a key role in keeping aircraft safe, compliant, and mission-ready.

Compensation & Schedule
  • Total compensation up to $43/hr DOE
  • Per diem available for those who qualify: $160/day for up to 5 days per week (split per diem structure)
  • Flexible shifts available, depending on operational needs and experience
What You’ll Do
  • Perform hands-on maintenance including disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, assembly, testing, and calibration of aircraft and components
  • Research and interpret technical data, maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and FAA regulations to ensure work is completed accurately and safely
  • Use company-provided special tooling and ground support equipment in accordance with approved procedures
  • Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures such as wings and fuselage, along with functional systems including rigging, flight controls, hydraulics, and plumbing
  • Disassemble and inspect aircraft and engine components for wear or damage, repairing or replacing parts as needed
  • Troubleshoot and maintain aircraft electrical wiring systems and accessories
  • Complete required documentation, inspections, routing tags, and identification paperwork accurately and on time
  • Support overall aircraft servicing activities such as cleaning, lubrication, brake inspections, and aircraft movement
What We’re Looking For
  • Airframe certification (required)
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience
  • Ability to read and apply technical documentation with precision
  • A safety-first mindset and strong attention to detail
Bonus Qualifications
  • A&P license
  • Basic personal tool set
Work Environment

The work is performed in an active aircraft maintenance hangar. This role requires regular physical activity including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You’ll work with hand tools and aircraft ground support equipment in an environment that includes high noise levels and exposure to varying temperatures. Safety is a priority, and appropriate PPE is provided and required, including eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, and safety harnesses when needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boise, ID.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39.12 - $43.00/hr.
