Job Title: 2nd Shift Welder
Job Description

The 2nd Shift Manual Welder plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by performing high-quality welding tasks during the evening shift to support continuous production. This position requires precision and attention to detail to ensure that all welded components meet strict quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual welding operations using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding according to job specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to accurately complete assigned tasks.
  • Inspect welded components for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and maintain a safe work environment.
Essential Skills
  • Certification from a recognized welding program (e.g., AWS Certified Welder).
  • Experience with multiple welding processes including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
  • Familiarity with welding inspection tools and non-destructive testing methods.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor equipment repairs.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced production environment.

Work Environment

The position is for the 2nd shift, Monday-Thursday from 4:30pm to 2:30am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Fond du Lac, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
