Set up and operate press per SOPs, work instructions, and control riders.
Actively monitor production efficiency and quality while completing all documentation and reporting accurately.
Troubleshoot machine problems as it pertains to equipment and set up. Perform testing as required and understands what corrective actions could be necessary to achieve passing results.
Assist in minimizing the scope of remakes (identifying problems in a timely fashion through attributing and effectively communicating with downstream operators).
Perform clean-up/maintenance tasks in accordance with company SOP.
Perform and sustain a high rate of productivity. Meet expectations for set up time and run speeds as established by the department leads.
Success factors…Preferably 3+ years of lithographic press experience or other technical skills operating machinery.
Experience with basic Quality systems and documentation.
Ability to understand and achieve performance expectations from supervision and communicate back to the crew those requirements.
Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
Physical requirements: Twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching, reaching over equipment, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended periods of standing, ability to lift 50 pounds.
Long periods of concentration.
Speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.
